It all started when…

Central Park artists gathered for the first annual Open Studios in 2013.  But what started as an event soon became a group of friends as the artists discovered that there was nothing better than camaraderie with other artists, especially those who live right in your own neighborhood!  Central Park Open Studios 2014 brought in new area artists, and Central Park Artists Group was formed.

In 2017, we continued our journey of growth. By forming Central Park Artists, a non-profit organization, we strive to continue our mission of cultivating vibrant communities through integrating art into the lives of people. Our vision is to promote and provide an inclusive art community with member activities, art shows, art education, workshops, programs, and our annual open studios event.

We are happy that every year continues to flourish and be more exciting and prosperous than the last.

Perhaps you've met us at Open Studios or perhaps you weren't even aware there are artists living, working, and dreaming here in Central Park.  We invite you to get to know us!  Come to our events, support your local artists, and watch how our community continues to grow in creativity and beauty!
